Refund policy

We want you to feel confident when shopping with West Kent. This policy explains how returns, cancellations, and refunds are handled in accordance with UK consumer law.


1. 30‑Day Returns

You may return your item for any reason within 30 days of delivery.

Conditions

  • Items must be unused, in their original condition, and returned with all original packaging.

  • You are responsible for the cost of returning the item.

  • We will refund the full product price.

  • If the item shows signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect it, we may make a reasonable deduction as permitted by law.

This 30‑day return period is an enhancement to your statutory rights.


2. Your Legal Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

For online, phone, or email purchases, you have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

To cancel, please email service@west-kent.com with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel.

Once you notify us, you have 14 days to return the item.

Refunds for Statutory Cancellations

  • We will refund the product price plus the standard outbound delivery cost (if charged).

  • You are responsible for the return shipping cost.

  • Refunds may be reduced if the item has been handled excessively.


3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible at service@west-kent.com with:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Photographs of the item and packaging (where applicable)

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to:

  • A full refund if the item is faulty within 30 days

  • A repair or replacement if a fault is reported after 30 days but within 6 months

  • A remedy appropriate to the circumstances if the fault occurs after 6 months

In these cases, we will cover the return shipping costs.


4. Refund Processing

Refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving the returned item and will be made to the original payment method.
