West Kent Smart Garden Mini - 5 Pod Indoor Herb Kit

I'm really happy with my 5 pod system. I've used others that were more complicated but the simplicity of this one is attractive. I expect good yields. It also tucks nicely into a corner of my kitchen.

Efficient service and a decently priced item. Already my plants have germinated with minimal effort. This set up is perfect, convenient and for a budding horticulturalist is a game changer. Thank you West Kent 🙏

System is great but no instructions so have spent ages trying to understand how to use it 🥲

I am disappointed at the moment. I can only see a couple of minute basil seedlings. This is after two weeks.
I hope I have set the correct lights.
I have been reading about red and far-red lights this morning.
I put the unit on a heat mat yesterday. I did know there was a specific ambient temperature.
I keep the heating at 12c overnight and 28c during the day in the house, but the unit is in an unheated utility room.

I bought 2 of these for a couple of friends and neighbours and they are having so much enjoyment that I had to buy one for myself.

Fab quality, no setting up required, autmatic lights turn off at 10pm and on again at 6am, easy to operate, stress free indoor growing, try it yourself!

This pod is a replacement one and so far so good.
The previous one had issues with electricity, this means they are all fragile when something goes wrong in the wires.
Well, now I have my fingers crossed and watch basil grow

I love my mini setup, so much I just bought another. Really simple to use and it’s keeping me in lettuce just now, with tomatoes starting in the new one.

It was really simple to set up which surprised me as I'd always thought it would be complicated and need specialist "stuff" but I mixed up the solutions popped them in the water and then set up the machine itself. I think it took about 10 minutes to get it set up because its really well packaged. I used seeds I had lying around at home and plopped them in and now I have 5 tomato plants. I don't need to remember to water them or plant them in bigger pots. It really was very easy and they grow do quickly. The green was a good colour option and I liked the fact it fitted in with my kitchen asthetic rather than just white / black options. The 5 pod was in my price range and if it didn't work out it meant I hadn't spent too much money. The only downside is that i am now addicted to growing different veggies and herbs so I am now saving up to buy a bigger version and have spent a fortune on different seeds. It really is a brilliant starter kit and I'm loving being able to watch the little plants start to sprout.

I know it's quite early to leave a review but..

I have had my hydroponic for around 4 days, but before getting this I was currently some chilli plants and a Roma tomato plant which was growing in a pot on my window, about 1-2 months to go by and they seemed that they were not growing at all, until I was gifted a small chilli plant that was grown using the same hydroponic, which made me think to get one and now they have started to take off and I am hugely impressed. I can't wait to see how they'll grow over the next 4 weeks and onwards.

Just a helpful tip.
I have it setup for the light to turn on at 6am and automatically turns off at 11pm and stays off until 6am comes back around again. The pump turns on every 30 minutes and stays off for 30 minutes which allows constant filtering. All in all, I am very impressed with this.

Already have the 15 pod one and decided to get the five as well so happy I did as herbs are growing lovely still got to put more in both hydros but will get there

Bought as a Christmas present and recipient was delighted with it

The 5 pod system was on my Christmas wish list but no one bought it for me, so I bought it for myself. I've had a great time with it since, checking the pods several times a day for progress :-)
I have run out of little pots to transfer the plants to. Hence the emergency use of tomato tin and broken mug

As a beginner I would have liked more information... like when/why to switch between 12 and 24 hour pump. The food instructions were complicated by one of the bottles being tablets not powder, but the instructions read like it should have been measurable in the cap.
Other than that I love it!

This is my 2nd 5 pod to go along with my 12 pod. Great fun and highly recommend, easy to use and very successful at germination

This thing is amazing, seeds started appearing in just 2 days TWO DAYS!! I bought it for a friend and I think I've started something now because she wants bigger ones already.
